Raised Velvet Dots, Not a Print

The dots are not printed on. They are flocked, meaning applied in velvet and standing proud of the transparent mesh, and you can both see and feel the difference. A print is a flat surface with a pattern lying on top of it. This reads as texture, takes light differently, and never dissolves into the red behind it.

The cut is an A-line babydoll, fitted through the bust and loose from the ribcage down, which is the most forgiving shape there is through the middle. It ties with a bow at each shoulder, so the strap length is yours to decide. The front is open, so the skirt falls away from the centre and moves when you move. Wash it by hand in cold water with a mild detergent, then lay it flat. Bleach, the tumble dryer and the iron are all out, since heat flattens flocked dots and that damage does not recover. Wash it on its own the first time, since deep reds transfer. Nothing intimate can come back to us once a sealed packet has been opened, on hygiene grounds, so measure yourself against the guide first.
