A closer look
Colour / Borrowed
It takes whatever
colour the room has
White cord has no colour of its own to defend, so it takes the room's. Under a violet wash it turns violet; under warm bar light it turns amber; under a flash it snaps back to white. The same veil can photograph like an heirloom beneath a lamp and like something engineered beneath a cold one.
Clothing and jewellery shown in these photographs are styling only and are not included.
Two readings
Shot flat,
shot moving
Pale cord holds its outline at distance, where a darker mesh dissolves into shadow after a few metres. That is far easier to judge on a face in a real room than on a plain background.
- AOpen enough to live in
You can see out of it, talk through it and drink through it. Over a long evening that matters more than anything else about it.
- BOne movement on
There is no clasp and no elastic. It drops over the crown and that is the whole operation.
