Mineral oil is slow to absorb, which is exactly what you want under working hands - it stays put and keeps sliding long after a lighter oil has soaked away. Spread a thin layer, build pressure gradually, and expect skin to feel soft and supple at the end rather than tight and stripped.

It comes off better with soap than with water alone, so a warm shower afterwards sorts everything out. Put a towel down, because twenty ounces of oil finds bedding easily. And treat it as a skin product only: mineral oil damages latex, so this bottle and condoms should never meet on the same night.
